Our Story
Dalla Mano Designs is a small family business run by us, Emma and Steve, producing bespoke handmade concrete homewares and designs from our farmhouse in the heart of the beautiful Northumbrian countryside. Our aim is to create and deliver the most stunning concrete creations we can.
As with many small businesses, we started out by making gifts for friends and family, and then the friends of friends and family! We’re still very much a small, hands on operation and quite often our teenage children will be found helping out.
The idea started back in March 2020 when Covid struck and the whole world went in lockdown. Not ones to sit still we decided this would be an ideal opportunity to build on our concrete floor business and put our passion and love of all things concrete to good use while we were stuck at home.
We set about designing our own pieces and making our own moulds so we could create a small range of homewares, including decorative trays, fruit bowls, tealights and planters.
Since then the range has grown to include sinks, coffee tables, dining tables and garden benches. We’re now selling our handmade homewares across Europe. Who would have thought?!
